Examples

Nexus Lab contains runnable demonstrations grouped by capability. Build a demonstration's .nxproject with the installed Nexus Build environment; run from the output directory the project resolves. Source trees contain the examples, not installed compilers or a private copy of their runtime packages.

Lab directory What to try Additional requirement
examples/gui/hello Minimal fpGUI application Native desktop display
examples/gui/script-editor Dialect-driven source editing, validation and undo Structural editor API
examples/gui/virtual-tree Lazy node contents, selection, sorting and cell editing Virtual TreeView
examples/mobile/controls Lua construction, skins and touch controls Mobile controls, engine host
examples/mobile/pascal-plugin Published Pascal objects through Lua Matching host architecture and bridge libraries
examples/packages/runtime-loading Shared Pascal types, package initialization and late loading Matching Nexus Pascal package SDK; use its current recipes
examples/data/schema inForce/Storm models, Firebird constants and Mustache generation Synthetic lookup/preload data; no production database content
examples/data/csv Explicit CSV-to-template generation nxcsv
examples/data/compression/paszlib Compression and archive APIs Compression libraries
examples/graphics/jpeg Pascal JPEG decoding/encoding Explicit input/output image filenames
examples/network/sockets Socket client/server examples Matching peer and an available local port
examples/system/registry Registry/XML registry access Choose the native or file-backed API deliberately
examples/system/resources Native and portable resource formats Matching resource inputs/tools
examples/system/users Unix account/group bindings Unix; shadow records are Linux-only
examples/packages/catalogs Package and index editing Package workbench

The schema templates consume the completed model's ordinary arrays and _nx identity/provenance. Manifest SourceTemplate rules compile synthetic CSV inputs and render one preload SQL file per source. These inputs demonstrate compilation and generation; they are not recovered production datasets.
